Eucharistic mass was conducted as the start of College Days celebration which was led by Rev. Fr. Renato Baldovino Jr. held at Sacred Heart College (SHC) Rendu Cultural Center and Gymnasium, August 12.

With the theme “Sa Natatanging Taon ng Hubileyo ng Awa, Pamilyang Kordeano…Gumugunita…Nagdiriwang…Tumatalima…”, Cordians together with the SHC personnel, Daughters of Charity and visitors are gathered to attend the mass for the opening of the celebration. “Ang ganda ng pormasyon ng pagkatao ng babaeng iyon (The formation of that woman is wonderful)”, Rev, Fr. Baldovino said as he shared his experience about the two students of SHC during his homily. “Ang maging mapagmahal at katulad ng puso ng Panginoon sana ay hindi mawala sa inyo (I hoped that being lovable and be like God’s compassion will always be with you)” he added. He also mentioned Miriam Defensor Santiago who once said “the worms have five hearts and the octopus have two hearts”. He even joked that if you love more than one, think what kind of animal you are.

Fr. Baldovino said that Cordians should love only one in an intimate relationship, one God, one school and persons in poverty situation as he ended his homily.
