Junior Marketing Association joins the Annual Juan Big Idea, South Luzon Edition

Cordian Marketing and Finance major with Mrs. Anna Liza B. Mendiola and Mr. Mark Sherwin G. de Oro travelled to Iriga, Camarines, Sur to join the annual gathering of marketing students in an event dubbed as “Juan Big Idea: The Chronicles of a Marketing Genius, South Luzon Edition” last August 28, 2016 at St. Anthony University.

Three successful marketing professionals shared their secret to the delegates with the opening salvo from the Operations Manager of Drake International, Mr. Arvin Ramos. He talked about how to effectively build brand armies through digital marketing. Mr. Ramos showed to the participants how the biggest companies’ utilized advertisement videos and explained the strategies used that affects consumer’s responsiveness towards what is being advertised.

Followed by the energetic Mr. Myron Sta. Ana, known as the “Corporate EnterTrainer”, he put the stage alive by sharing his brilliant ideas on building a stronger nation through customer relationship by delivering it in an entertaining fashion only he can deliver. No wonder why his name is being tagged to “EnterTrainer” because he definitely knew how to have fun while discussing a serious topic. Mr. Ramos stated that to build a strong relationship you need to have empathy towards the customer.

“Think that you can win before you go into the ring” said by the last speaker Mr. Kian Kazemi, TV Host, Producer and Entrepreneur. Having that kind of mindset will give us the confidence to do better. He explained to us the realities of establishing customer loyalty in our industry through his expertise and learning from his life experiences. Mr. Kazemi acted as the motivational speaker of the event.

During the event Cordian participants also donated school supplies to the National Marketing Executive Board’s project “Juan Shares”, the collected school supplies will be given to the selected public school at Iriga, Camarines Sur.
