Mentors hailed glorious.

SHC employees gathered as one family during the Araw ng Parangal 2009 at the gymnasium, Feb. 6. Msgr. Mariano Melicia led the mass which blessed the Personnel Day celebration as it began.

The program highlighted with the giving of recognition to following Service Awardees for their valuable service to the school:

While trainers of different competitions and contests were also acclaimed as they brought the name of the institution in its steadfastness and persistent commitment for academic excellence and integral formation of the students. They are Mr. Joel Boragay for SHC Music Ministry, Mrs. Agatha Brenica Ilagan for Mutya ng PRISAA 2008, Mrs. Raquel Sena for The Heart (Higher Education Department Publication) Staffers in the Regional & Luzonwide Press Conferences, Mr. Ronaldo Parreño III, Mr. Ronaldo Uriarte, Mr. Harby Nanad, for the 2nd On-line Inter-school Academic Contest Tertiary Level, Engr. Elda C. Aranilla for Philippine Statistics Quiz Contest, Ms. Leah Bongat for The Pulse (Lower Basic Education Department Publication) Staffers in the Regional Press Conference and Ms. Mary Jennivie Veran for The Heartbeat (Higher Basic Education Department Publication) Staffers in the Regional Press Conference.

Moreover, a production number and song renditions were also offered by selected BED students and HED students with Mr. Eduard Mancilla while a picture presentation was flashed to give tribute to the awardees and retirees.

Mrs. Soledad Montero, a Service Awardee imparted her inspirational message and Sr. Remedios Tidor, D.C., Vice President for Administrative Services and Finance in behalf of Sr. Fe Gedalanga D.C., President gave her felicitation message to wrap up the event.

This year’s theme is “Maggagawang Kordeano…Isang Pamilya sa Paaralan ni Fausta.”

Mr. Eduard Mancilla and Mr. Edbert Morales are the emcees of the event. Mrs. Raquel Sena spearheaded the celebration with January committee members.
