IBED wins Madulang Sabayang Pagbigkas

The Integrated Basic Education Department pupils claimed champion in the Madulang Sabayang Pagbigkas 2014.

This was the second time they won, earning them two consecutive wins.

The Cordians performed Dr. Eric Habijan’s piece Wikang Pagkakaisa. The participants were from grades four to six.

“Passion over fame is the belief I am trying to let the participants realize every now and then. I am very proud to say that Cordians will excel because of humility and sacrifice,” Mr. Michael Royo, trainer and choreographer said.

Furthermore, he said that the best way to give honor to our school is to really work hard for the competition. Mr. Jujie Abelino, principal of St. Philomena School, Mr. Michael Pagsuyuin, principal of Calayan Educational Foundation Inc. and Mrs. Carla Marie. Carandang, principal of Bristol Integrated School composed the board of judges.

The contest is a part of the celebration of the Linggo ng Wika and was held in the Hermana Fausta Hall, Sacred Heart College, Aug. 26.

The pupils will be representing the private schools in the Division level, to be held in West 1 Elementary School, Sept. 1.
