For about what hiring managers says about millennials, what do we get is that learning new skills is key to advancement, 2 years is right amount of time to stay in role, employers expect too much experience from job seekers and low pay & no development mean it’s time to go. She gave 10 tips to Millennials are; know yourself, humility, overcome procrastination, go beyond mediocrity, it starts from a decision, diversity, when dealing with mistake means correct it and learn from it, when dealing with challenges means it is a matter of perspective, never be satisfied of what you know means reflect on it and surround yourself out of the box thinker.

Next was Personal Branding by Ms. Rina Rodriguez. She said that your brand defines “You”- your image, your mission, your values, and your vision. Personal Branding is a crucial component of success. It is the way you see yourself, the way you see others, and the way others see you. It is what do you believe in, what you plant in your mind. Ms. Rina said that millennials are confident, impulsive, independent, diverse or flexible, nomadic, multitaskers, pragmatic idealist, entitled, egoistic, competitive, narcissistic, adventurous, and over achievers. She asked “What do you want to achieve?” and she leave a message that we must believe in our dreams and the only thing that stands between dreams and reality is our own hands to make it happen. And to achieve our dreams we must (1) have sincere intentions, (2) understand that things are not always what they seem, (3) trade jealous for inspiration, (4) being tires isn’t a badge of honor, and lastly reconsider your comparisons. Ms. Rina leaves us an inspirational quote, “You can be anything. Don’t stop until you’re proud.”
