The College of Computer Science started as a joint venture of the College of Accountancy in 1997 where Mr. Napoleon Lusterio headed its pioneer faculty members and students. The faculty of the college serviced the computer subjects for the IT and non-IT degrees as required by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). The College of Computer Science was separated from the College of Accountancy and officially became a single academic unit in 1998. In 2005, the College became a member of the Junior Philippine Computer Society (JPCS), a national student organization catering to computer enthusiasts coming from different schools.
