In a Community Outreach Program, Ms. Danah Cruzado, a Cyber Cordian Alumna of the College of Computer Science Batch 2013 together with her friends and co-employee Mr. Helbert Bira Araujo, a Bristish national and Ms. Danica Obina, a Filipina, gave joy to the Kabataang Badjao last January 24, 2020, at the Rendu Cultural Center and Gymnasium of Sacred Heart College, Lucena City.
Ms. Cruzado with her companions who are all teachers in China went to the Philippines for a short vacation and part of their plan is to do a community outreach.
The program was attended by the youth from Badjao, Barra, Lucena City, an adopted community of the College of Computer Science who are attending computer tutorial classes every second and fourth Friday of the month.
The program started with an opening prayer led by Ms. Danica Obina followed by a welcome message from Mrs. Eleonor J. Marquez, Program Head of the College of Computer Science.
Different Games were played, snacks were served and gifts were given to the Badjao students sponsored by Ms. Cruzado and her friends.
“As a full-blooded Ms. Cruzado embraced the virtues and values of Sacred Heart College,” Mrs. Eleonor J. Maquez said. Mrs. Elaine Escobiñas, the Community Outreach Program Coordinator with her two Social Work and the Computer Science students assisted and attended the program.
