The Microsoft Learn Student Ambassadors (MLSA) recognized Mark Nhonny Garcia, a Computer Science third year student for his dedication and hardwork as member of the team. The certificate of recognition and acceptance to the program was awarded virtually last August 7, 2020.
According to the MLSA page, the program aims to: Make a difference with students from around the world by connecting with other students who share passion in focused Leagues and use tech to solve real-world challenges together; Grow skills and build reputation as a tech insider by having a kick-start in career with training and certifications, support for virtual events, and unique access to experts and mentors; and, Become a leader in the local tech community and empower peers by hosting a digital events, offer guidance to other students, and earn recognition.
Garcia said “I am grateful for all the people who inspire me to apply for this Microsoft Learn Student Ambassadors program. To God, for allowing me to be His servant. It is the beginning of a long journey.
As a privilege, Garcia will get access to unique resources like global student network on Microsoft Teams and a Microsoft 365 account, and can earn badges for activities and contributions to unlock benefits such as cloud credits, based on MLSA page.
